Fascinating Norfolk Gardens
The garden lover will find many new ideas and much of historical interest in the many gardens open to the public.
Sheringham Park (National Trust) - The park was laid out by Humphry Repton to make best use of the landscape to create stunning views. It is best known for masses of rhododendrons and azaleas which provide spectacular displays in May and June.
East Ruston Old Vicarage - Taking advantage of the benevolent climate near the coast, the garden at East Ruston Old Vicarage features many exotic and rare plants. Everything from a banana tree to a wild flower meadow will be found in a very English setting. Cuttings of unusual species are often for sale.
